The capital in Norway and of one of the wealthiest cities in the world, Oslo, is routinely cited as a contender in lists of the smartest cities in the world. Being number 1 in parking, this implies for us to contribute and fill the city with smart connected car parks.
We are happy to announce that we will equip Vestre Vika P-hus, one of the large garages in Oslo city center, with PARKe technology within the summer of 2017.
The Car Park Management System PARKe will provide the following contribution to our smart city capital:
- Optimal utilization: A complete digital parking solution applies a wide range of tools for both the client and landlord, the car park operator, the stakeholders and of course the connected consumer.
- Less emissions: Seamless infrastructure at entry and exit + single point detection solution to find a free space
- Automation: Automatic touch-less payment via app together with no fines creates a better experience for the connected consumer
At the moment Vestre Vika is open to drivers with a classic Scheidt & Bachmann barrier system. The garage is currently being refurbished together with many other locations in the area, hence the timeline for implementing PARKe CPMS.
Within the summer of 2017, we will provide one of the most effective parking experiences possible at Vestre Vika. We are looking forward to making Vestre Vika into a connected car park!
